Chiang Mai Trip - Day 3

Our last day in Chiang Mai is really complicated, because our flight was cancelled and we didn't get any notification about that. We also never been to Chiang Mai, if we lost in Bangkok that might be safer for us because we have been stayed there for a long time and we also have several friends there.

Our morning is still good, but we couldn't face the reality that we need to go back to work again :')

The driver picked us in the morning and we went to Doi Suthep, we read that place is near with our hotel, but to reach that place we need to drive for approx. 30 minutes from our hotel. We stop to buy our breakfast because we couldn't find any Seven Eleven around our hotel. Doi Suthep has a really long stairs but we decided to paid more and use the elevator instead using that stairs.

This temple is quite small if I compared with the other temple that I ever visited in Thailand, but I think this temple is quite famous, they also have a meditation area and the suit of the decreased king while he did the ritual as a monk there. 

Because we still have several time, we decided to go to another place, but the tiger kingdom is quite far and our driver suggested us to go to Bhubing Palace

This palace is one of Thailand's Royal Palace, so you need to use the proper clothes as you visited Grand Palace, the security was quite strict to let the visitor to came to this palace. We came with several China Tourist but they took a lot of beauty picture instead visiting every part of that palace. We did that, we come to every corner of that Palace and there are an army who following us, we think that they treat us so well or maybe they really think that we will do something bad, because no one go to that peak as we do. First, they took photo for theirselves, but after that they told us the way that we need to choose.

The flowers are really nice and there are armies who guard that area. I don't think that we look like a naive but we talked a lot and that Palace is quite big and we late to go back to the van to go to the airport :'(

When we arrived at the airport we couldn't find any announcement for the check in counter for Malindo Air, we asked the staff but they also don't know and they told us to asked Thai Lion Air. Their staff said that our flight was cancelled and we need to go to Bangkok first and then go to KL and Jakarta, but the other problem is we will arrived in Jakarta on the next morning. We didn't prepare anything to stayed in KL and we don't have any plan there.

That's the hectic day ever on our holiday, because there were a lot of trouble especially me and my friend need to do the check in again in Bangkok :( :( 

After we arrived at Kuala Lumpur we ask to the transit desk and they help us to get the hotel. We are the only passenger who flied from Chiang Mai to Jakarta that time, yeah only 4 people. So, they prepare the hotel for free but that already late and we couldn't sleep really well because our flight must be really early and we need to take the first shuttle to the airport.

The bus was broke, so we need to us the van. Yeah everything was going wrong that time. We came too early, and we waited at the airport. That's really the first time for me to sleep at the airport and I think I am okay with that. #lol

AND FINALLY, we were back to Jakarta. YEAH we arrived quite late. 

But, because that still before lunch time, there weren't any traffic so we arrived early :")

We took almost 12 hours flight only from Chiang Mai to Jakarta :(

I think that I need to take some rest, because the next day I was going to Bromo using Bus and with the open trip "group" so that will be tough !! :")

Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai 2017 - Day 2

Day 2 - Full Day Chiang Rai

We decide to spent our only full day in Chiang Mai to visited Chiang Rai, this trip approx. 8 hours only for return way fron Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai, we left early that day. 

First,

We visited the hot spring - not really hot spring anyway. 

They have a hot fountain there and you can boil your own egg (you need to purchase from the lady there), I don't know how much but there were a lot of tourist did that, but not me. We only took a photo there and went to White Temple.

Then we force ourselves to move to White Temple, we tried to not so hungry that time. I need to give two thumb up for the design, the one who build that temple has his own museum on that area, you can get in and that museum is FREE OF CHARGE, to go inside the temple, you need to pay 50 bath/person.

I think it will be better if we ate near white temple, but because we need to go to singha park, we decide to ate there and the food were really expensive and the taste also not that good, I prefer to ate Seven Eleven again #lol

Singha Park was good, but we came too late :( 1 p.m was too hot to visited a park ! lol

lastly, we visited long neck village, the village is really small and I also not sure is it "REAL" or not, but the girls were really pretty and doing that stuff to their neck might be hurtful and gave them the pressured. But, I think that kind of tradition also need to be known by others. So, doesn't matter if they did that only for money or that's really real, as long as they let someone know that was something like that on that area.

Day 2 - DONE !!

We stopped at the old fortress there, and we walked to our hotel because we were afraid that we couldn't go back to our hotel like the first day :( 

We walked for almost 10 km, but that was  fine, because we found a really good food on our way.

Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai Day 1 - April 2017

Finally, I came to Chiang Mai this year with N' Indo gang !! yeah they are the one who did an internship in Thailand with me on 2015. We went to Bangkok first and then flied to Chiang Mai, we decided to go back to Jakarta without transiting at Bangkok, so we decided to used Malindo Air and transit at Kuala Lumpur. All of this photo are taken by us during this trip.

I already booked car for our trip to Peung (Pornpimol Puntiya) - +66898549684, we arranged the trip before and asked for the prince. I think I got quite cheap for 3 days trip using a van. I texted Peung to confirm my trip, and she said the other driver will come and pick us (driver contact : +66954535221, P' Corn). He was really nice to us and he always came before our pick up time.

I went with my 3 friends, Peung said that she will provide a car with 7 seat, but P' Corn gave us a VAN !! yeah a van for 4 people :) :) I afraid that the price will be higher, but that price is the same as we ask Peung for the 7 car seat.

When we arrived at Chiang Mai International Airport, the rain started to fall and the rain was heavier on our trip to Doi Inthanon, we spent approx. 3 hours from the airport to Doi Inthanon. But, that's really a different scenery than Bangkok. I think I love Chiang Mai more than Bangkok, because Bangkok is too hot :(

For the entrance fee for foreigner we need to pay THB 300 for the peak and the temple.
It's really a new experience for us, the right place to watch the sun set must be in this spot :

But we moved and couldn't see anything T.T but we got a really nice photo spot at the next stop

After the sun went down, we back to the city and visited the Sunday Night Market. As the one who already stay in Bangkok for a long time, and we also already spent a lot in Bangkok, we only but some stuff and food there. yeah we still didn't meet with our favorite sausage >.<

I think for the price, that market is quite expensive but most of them are same with Bangkok stuff, maybe because that market use to be a tourist spot. That market is really big and we already too tired that day T.T 

After that we tried to go back with song thew, 

we asked them to our hotel, but they didn't know where is that place and we were lost T.T

The driver also can't speak English and they also spent a lot of time because they could reach that hotel with the gmaps, the receptionist of the hotel also can't speak English and can't explain to the driver. I think the driver also mad to us, because we only pay THB 30 for each person and we also don't know where is the hotel.

Apakah "SALAH" terlahir sebagai MINORITAS ?

Hari ini, 9 Mei 2017, akhirnya pertama kalinya saya berpikir bahwa semua mimpi yang berhubungan dengan INDONESIA itu hampir mustahil untuk menjadi nyata, ketika saya tinggal di Indonesia sebagai MINORITAS. Akhirnya terlinyas dibenak saya apakah salah terlahir sebagai minoritas ? TIDAK, itu jawaban yang ada di hati kecil saya, karena saya TAHU bahwa INDONESIA tidak seperti ITU namun INDONESIA mendapat IMAGE tersebut hanya karena segelintir manusia yang tidak menggunakan akal sehatnya sebelum bertindak.

Kebetulan, setelah membaca dan mendengar mengenai bagaimana IMAN seorang AHOK dan apa yang dilakukan "MASYARAKAT" terhadap AHOK cukup membuat saya bertanya kenapa TUHAN membiarkan anak-Nya masuk kedalam pencobaan. PENCOBAAN disini bukan pencobaan yang ringan yang terjadi sehari-hari. Jika saya pada posisi Bapak AHOK mungkin saya akan menyerah di tengah jalan. TENTU peran andil keluarga dan orang-orang di sekitar AHOK juga sangat PENTING karena tidak mudah untuk ada di posisi tersebut, apalagi ketika harus siap untuk di hujat dan di fitnah, seperti Bapak Djarot pada saat kampanye PILKADA lalu, dengan besar hati Pa Djarot tetap terlihat tersenyum disetiap foto yang di POST termasuk yang menghina dan KONTRA terhadap beliau. Jadi dari cerita tersebut yang SALAH itu bukan MINORITASnya tapi yang SALAH itu KONSEP yang menganggap bahwa semua orang yang BENAR DAN BERSIH itu SALAH. 

Kasus selanjutnya yang lagi HITS adalah mengenai politikus minoritas yang berambisi menjadi wakil presiden, dia rela menjual iman nya hanya untuk sebuah TAHTA ? Jadi, minoritas juga bisa jadi politikus kalo kalian mau jadi MAYORITAS. Maaf sekali akhirnya perbuatan baik dari MAYORITAS itu tertutup oleh kelakuan segelintir MAYORITAS yang tidak membawa nama AGAMA sebagai sumber kedamaian. 

Hidup di negara yang BERAGAM ini tentu harus menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai toleran, segala sesuatu yang berlebih itu memang selalu tidak baik, contohnya seperti TINDAKAN EKSTRIMIS, saya juga tidak setuju dengan bentuk EKSTRIM dari segala agama, bukan hanya MAYORITAS saja. 

Saya bertanya dalam HATI ketika kami mencoba untuk menjadi masyarakat yang toleran kenapa tetap tidak bisa tercapai kehidupan yang aman dan tentram ? Saya mencoba merasionalisasi otak saya untuk tidak menjadi EKSTRIM terhadap suatu AGAMA tertentu, bahkan saya sempat bertanya kenapa sih TUHAN mengizinkan ini terjadi ? Tapi satu jawaban yang pasti adalah TUHAN TIDAK PERNAH MEMBERIKAN PENCOBAAN MELEBIHI KEKUATAN KITA. yah, setidaknya disaat saya diingatkan akan hal yang harus dimiliki adalah kedewasaan rohani dari pemeluk agama tersebut. 

karena lagi ngomongin tentang menoritas, akhirnya saya teringat dengan kejadian yang baru saja terjadi pada saya pada saat saya baru pulang, kejadian ini terjadi di bagian imigrasi BANDARA INTERNATIONAL SOEKARNO HATTA. Pada saat saya dan teman saya pulang, memang jarang ada orang INDONESIA pada flight tersebut dan kebetulan kami hanya berdua pada saat masuk di imigrasi. Ketika kami berharap bahwa ini akan mudah karena sudah dipisahkan antara WNI dan WNA sehingga prosesnya akan cepat, namun yang terjadi adalah teman saya ditanya mengenai sukunya, apakah itu PENTING bagi seorang petugas imigrasi untuk menanyakan SUKU kepada WNI yang mau pulang ke rumah ? 

Kejadian lainnya yang agak menyebalkan juga, pada saat saya naik uber tiba-tiba masnya nanya "maaf yah mbak, maaf. Mbak orang CINA yah?" awalnya ga kepikiran aneh-aneh, ya udahlah gw jawab, iya tapi keturunan doang kok, saya mah orang INDONESIA kan udah punya KTP. 

Nah, tapi kejadian ini berulang beberapa kali dan ternyata teman saya juga ada yang ditanya spt itu oleh ojek online lainnya, apakah masalah ketika anda mengangkut penumpang yang MINORITAS ?

Akhir kata, apakah saya sedih menjadi MINORITAS ? NGGA kok, karena MINORITAS juga manusia yang punya HAK yang HARUSNYA dilindungi oleh NEGARA selama saya punya KTP INDONESIA (kalo beneran iya), tapi untungnya sejauh ini tidak ada kejadian yang tidak mengenakkan atau merugikan saya sebagai MINORITAS. 

Semoga setelah kejadian ini terjadi, MASYARAKAT menjadi MELEK atas PANCASILA & KESERAJATAN antara umat beragama baik MAYORITAS DAN MINORITAS, bukan saling PERANG OMONGAN di MEDIA SOSIAL tapi saling MEMBANTU ! :)

FOCUS ON THE PROCESS

Yesterday, I came to a cell group, I didn't expect that I'll got something there and I really don't know why I choose that path, I must to spent some money and I rejected the dinner offer at Holy Cow. I never think before that I can refuse that. But, that night is really great when I asked some questions on my mind, I turn out got the answer instantly. The topics were dream and vision. Everyone has their own dream and they tried their best to make that comes true. The dream that we dream on might be our ambition, but as the child of God we need to have a same dream like what God's dream about our life. The song that really touched me yesterday was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgJCXuLBGwg, that song told us that we need to have God's hand to hold our hand. He hold our hand with His right hand. The sermon was told by Ps. Betty (Ps. Johan Handojo's wife), she told us about we need to have a dream and vision, every great man and woman on the bible has their own dream and vision. Sometimes, we only focus on the goal, we didn't notice that the process is more meaningful than the result itself. When we only focus on the goal the result will come out as much as our target, but when we keep going and keep our track on the right path daily, weekly, and we did that with a whole heart we will achieved more than that. I heard or read that before from some article or TED video before. I didn't get that point that time. But, when I heard that again yesterday, I know that the process is the key point to achieved that dream. To reach that we need to have a vision, without the vision we couldn't stay on the right path because we will face a problem and the human wills also can divert our way to that dream.

During that time to reach that dream we need to have a test, the best analogy for this test is Joseph's life. Since the beginning, Joseph was sold by His own family because of their jealously. God allow us to face that problem comes to our life from our close relative. Most of our deep hurt comes from someone who we think that close enough with us. Joseph's life was great before as the most precious son but He had been sold by his own family and They declared his died. On this level, we need to place our focus only in God. Lead our heart and mind to God and only God. This level will be the first thing that we need to remember to place God first in our life, when we did that doesn't mean that will be end to the journey of our path to reach our dream. The next stage is the wife of Potiphar this stage lead us to focus on our body desired, but Joseph rejected that offer and he must go to jail because of that slander that made by the Potiphar's wife. During his time in the jail he need to obedient with the authority, he couldn't be his self, when we stayed in the jail we couldn't have a time for our comfort. We need to wake up from our comfort zone. You must be heard that a lot of time, but being out of our comfort is not that easy. We need to paid something with the things that we own, like time, friends, family, or anything that you need to sacrificed. Comfort zone doesn't mean the place you comfort to or comfort with but more than that is your habit and how you manage yourself, sometime I thought that I am good enough with what I have and the other time I felt like nothing, when I full of myself and think that I am good enough and I felt okay that would be my comfort zone and I'll be trap on that image and I'll became arrogant. But, if I still keep on my mind that I was nothing, I will become nothing forever. So, we need to manage to improve ourselves daily. The last stage is when you depend on the other, you asked for help from the human. Human might disappointed with the other but God never disappoint us while we often disappointed Him. Keep ourselves to place our trust in God is really hard, trust me I felt that before and asked a lot of question on my mind. But, trust Him, He has a great DREAM for us. We will found out about that later after we reached that DREAM :) This level is really HARD, when you felt disappointed with your life and you think that God didn't hear your pray and you're alone and God won't be with you because of your sin, you won't be the same when you place yourself on that place. 

She told us that the audience can criticized the player, but when we placed ourselves on their behalf we won't think like that. The audience can make the crowd but they won't have any benefit with what they did, but the player learn about that and keep going and keep moving forward, he/she will become the real VICTORY after their long journey. The result never come instant and that won't be FREE.  

2017

Happy New Year !!!

This is my first update in 2017, and I would like to say that everything might be not perfect as once but we learn and did better for another days ahead. 2016 was AWESOME, a lot of things happen in my life, I think that practice makes perfect. When I look back from my 2016 update, the post that upload getting better every time I update. I am not saying that I am good enough now. I still need to make many improvement and I hope that my update will give you any information and inspired you more. 

My Blog might be post random, yeah really random post, depend on my mood to write and I couldn't keep update every week :) But, this year I really got a lot of reader who read my blog, I really would like to everyone who read my blog, but I know that my blog still far from perfectness. I really open if you would like to comment something :) I need to know more to improved my update in 2017. Life won't be easy but everything will be okay :D

10 Things that I learn from 2016

It's finally the end of 2016. This year I really felt like I learn a lot from this part of my life, so I would like to share 10 Things that I learn from 2016. 

1. BREATHING means you are alive

I really appreciate if I woke up and I still breathing. A lot of things happen in 2016, there were also some of my colleague's family who passed away this year. When you still alive and you family still around you be grateful about that. In the morning I always pray that I really thanks GOD for giving me another chance to do something better today. When I did that I know that day will be awesome, because the way you think will determine how you felt that day.

2. Control your EGO

I really learn that this year ! yeah a lot !! I worked now and I can't be someone who still become like the one in my university days. I can't do something that freely and let my EGO control my days. yeah. Sometime that might be happen but let your EGO stay calm and do your best as today is the last day of your life. That really effective to conquer your EGO.

3. Believing yourself

Knowing yourself more, upgrade your capacity, and keep your dream high. Believe that YOU can do everything and YOU really someone who awesome :D but, never be the one who overconfident because became someone overconfident will take you down.

4. Moving Forward

Moving forward doesn't means that you'll be on the FAST TRACK, moving forward means that you keep moving to your goals with everything you have and everything that happen in your life. You can move slowly, as long as you moving forward. Something on your back might be really good and sometime you want to look back and move to that time again, but you won't reach your goal if you keep look back. Let the memories became a memories.

5. God is always PROVIDE

Keep your faith in GOD and He will provide everything for you, and more than what you think.

I always asking myself how to find God first when I did a lot of things, but if I spare a time for God that not that much and I still can do all of the things that I planned and the result might be better than I keep busy doing something. He knows when the right time for us, never complaint.

6. GIVE YOUR HEART TO GOD, AND TRUST HIM !!

The things that really hard for me was trusting that God has a really good plan for me. I started this year with a big burden on my shoulder, yeah I need to be independent, why God let me be like this, why and a lot of why I asked. But, I joined a community to study about bible and I decide to place everything on the palm of God's hands. I just need to trust HIM more than ever. Sometimes, I kept myself asking why why and why. But, I think I can have a peace when I trust HIM more than the last time, more than yesterday.

7. He allowed you to be on the TRIAL

No one ever success if they never be on the bottom. Someone might be success with their own, but is it TRUE ? can I become a really good leader ? We need to reach the top from the bottom so we might be more considerable with the situation. That not the way to compromise, but the way to be humble and being someone who can impact the other. He want you to be a leader who will be more than just a leader.

8. Being Grateful with everything you have

When you have your own life and you always compare with everyone life you never satisfied with what you have, they said that your life also awesome on the other eyes. Never compare yourself and being grateful with what you have now. Think as everything is a lesson that you need to take to reach your dream.

9. Keep you life on TRACK

I tried to planned everything that I need to do, what I need to do and what I need to prepare. Sometime what you prepare is not happen in reality, but keep planning, you can't live only with one plan. If you kept everything on the right track you'll learn something from what you did and what you decided.

10. Always look from more than one side

This might be the last but this also important matter. When you look something only from one side you won't find anything deeper, you will only think bad, especially when something bad happen. It's about how to survived and the basic of life. I did some interview and most of them asked about my good and bad personality, I think that every personality might be have their own good and bad, something good if that over might be bad.

2016 was AWESOME but I hope that 2017 will be better !!
