Have you ever heard about Chongqing before? My Chinese friends said that NOW, CHONGQING IS THE HOTTEST DESTINATION in CHINA. WHY? I also don't know why but I need to mentioned before that CHONGQING is REALLY BIG. hahaha.
Previously, our tour guide said that CHONGQING is as big as AUSTRIA. hahaha. Is it true? Maybe, I already stayed a year and I still cannot explore all of area in Chongqing. This city is famous as a mountain city and a foggy city. It is not too cold during winter but it is really hot during summer. But, if I compared with the other area, I think Chongqing is not that hot but Indonesia is warmer. hahah. Living in CQ is really comfortable but studying in China (especially as an engineering student) is not really FUN if you are not so 'SCIENTIST WANNABE'.
Chongqing speciality is HOTPOT, most of people really like spicy food especially HUAJIAO (aka MALA). You can find a lot of HOTPOT area almost in every corner. CQ is the origin city of Hotpot, so if you want to try the authentic hotpot you should try one in Chongqing.
Chongqing also being famous with their BEAUTIFUL LADIES and they are mostly like asian (not really tall) because northern people is really tall compared to Chongqing people. When I asked people why they choose Chongqing, most of them answer me because Chongqing is the place which can provide both old and new China, it has a beautiful nature and a lot of skyscrapers.
